Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) stumbles into trouble with the supernatural once again when the Captain of the Flying Dutchman, Davey Jones, comes searching for Sparrow to collect a blood debt owed to him by the shifty pirate. Unless he pays, he will be cursed to the eternal servitude of Jones in the afterlife. Unfortunately, this throws a wrench into the wedding plans of Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley) and Will Turner (Orlando Bloom), who must now rescue their old friend.

World Trade Center

On September 11, 2001, a team of Port Authority Police Department first responders drove from mid-town Manhattan to the World Trade Center. Five men, including officers John McLoughlin (Nicolas Cage) and Will Jimeno (Michael Pena), went into the buildings themselves and were trapped when the towers collapsed. Miraculously, McLoughlin and Jimeno survived for the next 12 hours, and kept each other alive by talking about their families, their hopes and their disappointments while waiting for help to arrive.

While Blanchard's growing preoccupation with the case threatens his relationship with Kay (Scarlett Johansson), Bleichert finds himself attracted to the enigmatic Madeleine Linscott (Hilary Swank)-who just happens to have an unsavory connection to the murder victim.
