hen it comes to finding out what movie is playing where and when, you don't need to go to your door to retrieve your newspaper. You can find everything you need right on your computer. You don't even have to put on a housecoat as a concession to public decency to get movie
listings, star profiles, features and much more at sites such as tribute.ca. And when's the last time you were able to watch a movie trailer in your newspaper? Can't be done. But tribute.ca has more trailers than there are fezzes at a Shriner's convention.

In addition to tribute.ca, there's a couple of other sites out there that provide the kind of entertainment eye candy that newspapers can only dream of. Take cineplex.com, for example. If you're thinking it's just a corporate shill site, think again. Want movie showtimes? They've got 'em. More than that, if you sign up they'll even send you a weekly e-mail keeping you up-to-date on the showtimes and upcoming releases at your three favorite Cineplex cinemas. You can even order gift certificates for that special someone online.

Or how about galaxycinemas.com? There you can find out everything you need to know about a Galaxy cinema near you as well as check out the specials at the concession stand so you'll know what the best deal is before you even get into the lobby. And if you're looking for a job that is out of this world, you can check that out, too. There's also empiretheatres.com if you're feeling in the mood to take control of your own Empire (you can actually do that by booking a cinema for your own private function).

One other thing your newspaper couldn't possibly do even if they wanted to is let you know what's playing where clear across the nation. But they don't call it the worldwide web for nothing and tribute.ca is nothing if not worldly. Flying into Fredericton and want to catch a flick? Moving on to Moncton and want to watch a movie? It's all there at your fingertips at tribute.ca - all the movies, all the showtimes, all of Canada, all the time.

And if you like winning prizes then all you have to do is enter at tribute.ca, cineplex.com or galaxycinemas.com. Perhaps best of all is there's no squinting. Leave the reading glasses on the table and just tell your computer to up the font to something you're comfortable looking at. Get all your movie listings and much, much more online at a site very near you.
