uite a bit has happened since we last chatted… Russell Crowe got married, Harrison Ford got divorced (reported cost $150 million) and Jennifer Garner split with Scott Foley. Up next for Russell is the drama Master and Commander: The Far Side of The World in November. Ford will star in the comedy Hollywood Homicide with Josh Hartnett and Lolita Davidovich next month. Meanwhile, Jennifer is in L.A. shooting the comedy 13 Going On 30, about an insecure 13-year-old girl who wakes up one morning and finds out that she's a successful 30-year-old advertising executive. That movie comes out next year. Coming in 2005 is Elektra, based on her character in Daredevil.   Despite rumors that their marriage is wobbly, Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe are expecting their second child. The couple already has a four-year-old daughter, Ava. Up next for Reese is Legally Blonde 2, which hits theatres in July.   In an effort to take on grittier roles, Meg Ryan has announced that she's ready to do just about anything, including taking off her clothes, if it will jump-start her career. Well, she hasn't taken long to find that movie. It's an erotic thriller called In The Cut, directed by Jane Campion, which will feature some pretty graphic love scenes. Steady, boys. Meanwhile, we hear that Meg has been quietly keeping company with the very handsome John Cusack.   And speaking of graphic love scenes, Colin Farrell says he can't wait to star in Oliver Stone's movie Alexander The Great, which will reportly feature love scenes with both women and men.
Keeping track of Farrell's escapades is becoming a full-time job in itself. He recently revealed he's about to become a dad (mom is model Kim Bordenave). Colin's happy about it, but isn't about to give up his active dating life. At a recent post-screening party for Phone Booth, Colin is said to have hit on three women in all. So who did he leave with? His mom, Rita.   There's a beautiful young woman Danielle Dotzenrod who is likely breathing a sigh of relief these days. Danielle is a model… she's also the most recent ex-girlfriend of Billy Bob Thornton who, it had been rumored, was ready to pop the question. Sure, Billy Bob's a terrific actor, but with five marriages under his belt, he sure has issues. Consider yourself lucky, Danielle.   Billy Bob is currently filming the historical action drama The Alamo in Texas with Dennis Quaid.   In other news, Melanie Griffith is slated to take the part of Roxie Hart in the Broadway production of Chicago in July. Now that the musical is back on the big screen in a big way, a remake of Footloose is now in the works.   It's been a while since we've seen a good old-fashioned Hollywood cat fight, but that's what we had a few weeks ago in L.A. Shannen Doherty bumped into New York socialite Paris Hilton and the two started up. It all stems from Shannen's ex husband, Rick Solomon, who recently returned to Paris, his ex-girlfriend. Shannen says that she's worried about Rick, who has two kids (from another woman) but hasn't seen them in weeks. Shannen claims that Paris has been leaving threatening messages on her answering machine. The soap opera continues.   Congratulations to Bridget Fonda, who is now engaged to movie composer Danny Elfman, who recently worked on the scores for Chicago and Spider-Man. Danny is also known as the leader of the '80s band Oingo Boingo.   Hollywood is chomping at the bit for a couple of stories recently "ripped from the headlines", as they say. The family of kidnap victim Elizabeth Smart has been bombarded by over 100 film, book and TV-movie offers.   The studios are also eager to make a film about American army private Jessica Lynch, who was rescued from Iraq during the war. One Hollywood source says it's the perfect story - because it's heroic, it has a happy ending and the main character is a pretty girl. Sarah Michelle Gellar has already been mentioned for the lead role.   The 62-year-old billionaire who used to date Elizabeth Hurley now has his sights set on Minnie Driver, who is almost half his age. Minnie, however, is pursuing a music career. She has spent the last several months in the studio recording her debut album. Word on the street says she's pretty good.   And here's a strange story - a man in Belgium is about to have the first of nine operations, which will make him look exactly like… Michael Jackson. Before you know it, this guy will be wearing face masks and going on million dollar shopping sprees.
